About Our Referral Service
A useful place to begin
A septic or sewer problem can leave you with two questions: what needs attention, and whom should you contact? Lightshidden Septic helps with the second question. We connect homeowners with independent local providers who can discuss the first.
Our role is referral. We do not pump tanks, inspect pipes, or carry out repairs. The provider you choose is responsible for assessing the property and explaining the work they offer.
Put the symptoms in order
You do not need a diagnosis to make a request. A short record gives the provider a clearer place to start. Note the affected drains, any outdoor changes, and when each symptom appeared.
First, describe the current concern. Next, mention earlier problems or visits. Then explain access to the tank, yard, or basement. Keep guesses separate from things you have seen. “Two drains backed up after laundry” is more useful than naming a broken part without an inspection.
Understand where the request goes
Your location and requested service help identify a possible provider connection. Availability and service scope still need confirmation. A request for septic tank pumping may need a different discussion from a recurring sewer backup.
When using the phone option, ask who has answered and whether you are speaking with the provider that may visit. Confirm the business name before arranging work. Sending a request through Lightshidden Septic does not mean a visit has been booked.
Keep the timeline clear
Timing adds context without proving a cause. A drain that slowed this morning and a yard that has stayed wet for days are different observations. Tell the provider about both if they occur together.
As hours pass, note whether the problem stays in one place or reaches other fixtures. If it returns on later days, share that pattern too. Mention recent flooding or deep frost, but let the provider assess whether weather is involved. Do not wait for a longer record before reporting an active backup.
Look for plain answers
A useful provider discussion should cover the proposed visit, possible charges, and what remains unknown until the system is checked. Ask for a written quote and an explanation of any work that falls outside it.
These are practical expectations for the conversation, not claims about credentials or a promise of a particular result. Verify any qualifications needed for your job directly with the provider. You can ask questions before making a decision.
Separate referral from repair
Lightshidden Septic does not decide what is wrong, select a repair for your property, or approve work on your behalf. The provider handles those technical discussions with you.
You also agree on scheduling, payment, and any service terms directly with the provider. If the suggested work changes after an assessment, ask for the updated scope and price before approval. Keep the quote and provider contact details together.
Ask about the money path
Referral services and repair businesses have different roles. For details about how Lightshidden Septic is paid or whether a referral arrangement applies to your request, contact contact@lightshidden.property. Do not assume a particular payment arrangement from this page.
Ask the provider separately about assessment charges, work costs, and payment terms. A referral is not a repair quote.
Take the next clear step
Have your location and symptom notes ready. Request a callback to check provider availability. Explain the concern, confirm who you are speaking with, and discuss the next step with the independent provider.
Request a callback
Describe your septic or sewer concern and share your service address. Lightshidden Septic helps connect you with a local provider to discuss availability and an estimate.
